Janjet has launched into its second full season of providing in-depth coverage of Minnesota Girls High School Hockey. Janjet features weekly player profiles, team stories, in-depth playoff coverage, great photography and live, updated rankings for teams in both Class A and AA.

Following our first full year of publishing in 2021-22, it is clear there is a captive and enthusiastic audience of followers who appreciate and support a publication dedicated solely to the girls high school game in Minnesota.

Janjet's innovative rankings algorithm establishes who are the top teams in the state for both classes, with live updates as game results come in. The Janjet rankings algorithm takes into account margin of victory, quality of opponents, most recent results and overall record to determine its top 60 teams in the state. This formula has proven to be an extremely accurate measure of where each team stands.

Janjet is fostering the development of aspiring writers and photojournalists. The Janjet editorial staff is comprised of high school and college students with a passion for journalism and sports reporting.

Janjet's weekly editorial calendar will run for 20 weeks, from October 31 through March 6, with new, original content published every week during the season.

Janjet is funded by (non tax-exempt) donations from people who believe in increased sports coverage for girls and women, and advertisers who see a captive, targeted audience within the girls hockey community.
